HOW WILL THE EMISSIONS BE AFFECTED?

All of our performance Tunes are tested to ensure that they comply with UK emission laws.

IS THE TUNING PROCESS REVERSIBLE?

Yes. In the unlikely event that you would like our Tune removed, the process can be reversed without any adverse effects.

ARE THERE ANY PHYSICAL CHANGES TO THE VEHICLE?

Not usually. Most of our Tuning involves ECM software downloads only. There will be no physical evidence that the engine has been upgraded.

ARE THERE ANY INSURANCE IMPLICATIONS?

Yes. Most Insurance companies require you to inform them of any modifications to your vehicle. This includes modifications such as Stainless Steel Exhausts or different Alloy Wheels. Some Insurance companies will add a premium to your policy, others will not. Our performance Tuning is invisible and it is impossible to detect that the engine Tune data has been modified.

WILL THE LIFE OF MY ENGINE BE REDUCED?

No. The Tuning is carried out well within safe limits and will not compromise your engine in any way.

WILL I HAVE TO UPGRADE MY BRAKES?

No. Over 90% of the vehicles we Tune need no modifications to Chassis or the Braking system.

WHY WOULD I WANT A TUNE?

There are many reasons, some more obvious than others. As a Tune increases the power output of the engine, there are many advantages. Your vehicle will be quicker, flat spots in the rev range can be eliminated and, believe it or not, your fuel economy will increase. The increase in power can be very practical too, particularly for towing purposes.
